Influencer marketing is an effective tool for increasing brand visibility. However, sometimes challenges arise: an influencer may not return the product, fail to respond, or not post as agreed. Here’s how to handle these situations and what rules apply.

Sometimes, a deadline might simply be overlooked – this is no cause for concern. In such cases, we recommend reaching out to the influencer directly via chat to send a friendly reminder about syncing their content.

If an influencer still doesn’t post despite multiple follow-ups, let us know in the chat – we’ll help you get in touch with them again.

How to Identify in Your Campaign If an Influencer Hasn’t Posted:

  • The influencer's activity field is highlighted in yellow

  • Under remaining time, it says "Time is up!"

  • Under content completed, you can see which content hasn’t been synced yet

The Influencer Doesn't Post Despite Multiple Follow-Ups

If an influencer fails to post, there are several ways to resolve this issue:

  1. Refluenced Influencer Manager

Our Influencer Manager starts privately reminding influencers about their content two days before the deadline. Additionally, our system sends automated messages to influencers who have not yet posted.

She remains in contact with the influencers until the missing content is synced or another solution is found.

  2. Return Products

Product Compensation: If you have sent products for your campaign, you can request their return from the influencer. Please communicate this directly in the campaign chat.

Tip: It’s best to provide the return address right away.

Voucher: If you have provided influencers with a voucher and it has not yet been redeemed, you can deactivate it. Please notify the influencer directly in the campaign chat.

If the voucher has already been used, you can send the influencer an invoice for the voucher amount via the campaign chat.

  3. Send an Invoice

If returning the product is not possible, you can invoice the influencer for its value and send the invoice directly through the campaign chat.

  4. No Cash Payout

If your campaign includes cash compensation, the influencer will not receive their payout if they fail to post their content.

No worries – in most cases, a solution can be found! We’re always here to support you and help resolve the situation in the best possible way.
