What can you do with a content buyout?

A content buyout allows you to fully acquire the rights to the content created by influencers, enabling you to use it flexibly for various marketing purposes. This gives you access to high-quality influencer content that can be repurposed for your own channels and promotional activities.

Here are some ways you can use the purchased content:

  • Own Social Media Channels: Post the content on your Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn accounts to engage your community with authentic material.

  • Website & Landing Pages: Integrate the content on your website or in your online store.

  • Performance Marketing (Ads): Use the content for Instagram, TikTok, or Meta ads to achieve better advertising results with authentic creatives.

  • Newsletter & Email Marketing: Include the content in your mailings or newsletters.

How does a content buyout work?

With a content buyout, you purchase the content from the influencer and gain the rights to use it for your own marketing purposes. In your reporting, under each content piece, you'll find the "Use a Buyout" button, where you can redeem a content buyout. Depending on your plan, you will have a certain number of content buyouts included. If you've used up all your buyouts, you can purchase additional ones through our platform.

Note: Content buyouts are available only for Instagram and TikTok campaigns, as you directly pay creators for UGC campaigns when you receive their video.

Things to know about our content buyouts:

  • Every blue "Use a Buyout" button is a content buyout.

  • Your plan includes several buyouts.

  • You can purchase additional buyouts.

  • You can download Reels, Stories, Posts, TikToks, and raw footage.

How to use a content buyout:

  1. Go to either the Active Phase or Reporting of your campaign.

  2. Choose your favorite content.

  3. Click on "Use a Buyout."

Here's how you can see how many content buyouts you have left:

  1. In your dashboard

At the bottom left corner, you’ll see how many content buyouts you have remaining.

  2. In your campaign

Open the reporting in your campaign. Here, you'll see in the bottom left corner of your screen how many content buyouts you have left.

  3. In your company information

Go to your company profile and click on "Edit company information."

Now click on the "Invoices" tab in the sidebar.

Here you can see how many content buyouts you have left and when you will receive new ones.

Here’s how you can purchase new content buyouts:

Click on the small box in your reporting, dashboard, or company information, and then click the plus sign in the top right corner of the box.

A pop-up window will open where you can choose how many content buyouts you want to purchase. You can select from 4 different bundles. Confirm your selection by clicking "Confirm". (If a credit card is stored, the bundles will be directly charged to your account. If no credit card is stored, you will need to add one first or contact our sales team – they will be happy to assist you.)

To see which content you have already purchased and how many content buyouts you have made:

Go to the payment overview in your profile from the menu bar.

When you click on the "Content Buyouts" tab, all your purchased content pieces will be displayed. Additionally, you'll see how many content buyouts you have left. You can also download this overview as a PDF and download your already purchased buyouts again for free (since you have already acquired the rights to them).

When you click on the "Buyout Bundles" tab, you'll see which bundles you've purchased, when you bought them, and how much you paid for them. You can also download this overview as a PDF.

How much does a content buyout cost?

Each blue “Use a Buyout” button counts as 1 content buyout. If you see the “Download” button instead, a buyout has already been used.

(Every) one content buyout costs 89,-.

Your plan already includes a few content buyouts by default – if you need more, you can purchase additional ones at any time.

Partnership / Spark Ads

With Partnership / Spark Ads, the influencer's content is run as an ad under their name. It seamlessly integrates into the app's user flow and scores with particular authenticity. The rights to the content remain with the influencer, but you have the right to run ads with their content for one year. No Content Buyout is needed to use the content as a Partnership/Spark Ad.
